Bashful

Hello!

There's a new challenge over at AAA Cards and it's a cracker!

I loved the inspiration this gave me.  Firstly to make a quick card, and secondly to include dry embossing - something I never do!  So now I'm enthused to include more embossing on my cards. And it's a great technique for a CAS card as you keep the white space!

I used a Penny Black die called Bashful.  I used Tim Holtz Distress Stains and Markers in Wild Honey, Pickled Raspberry and Forest Moss to colour on watercolour card. I then die cut the flower.  The embossing folder is Stampin' Up! and the greeting is Penny Black stamped with Gathered Twigs Distress Ink.

Here it is! Hope you like it.  It was a 10 min make (took me longer to find the embossing folder!)

Love this, the elegant flower looks lovely against the white spotty background. I know what you meant about embossing folders. I rarely use mine but have promised myself to change that xx

That's a very lovely embossing folder you've used, really sets the flower of a treat. So glad to have inspired you to hunt out your embossing folders! Thanks so much for playing at AAA Cards, look forward to seeing you join in with future challenges too.

What a gorgeous card! I LOVE dry embossing and I'm so happy to hear that you're keen to do more embossing! It's such an over-looked technique! Thanks for playing along with us at AAA Cards!
