Two makes from yesterday, yes, a whole day devoted to craft yesterday (and a nice little drive down to a wee village in the Scottish Borders). Attended a workshop run by the most lovely people at Stampers Grove, and the most amazingly talented Kate Crane! A totally amazing experience, with expert tuition, taking me out of my comfort zone of "colouring between" the lines! It was a lovely day with lovely crafty ladies. </p><p>We played with Gelli Plates, brayers, alcohol inks, acrylics, watercolours, stencils and dura-lar! </p><p>Here are the results! </p><p><br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjeYLv0qvK9tIJncnyXLoV_d3lsS7oWs10RdX9rDRpmWhRAbXHDhl4vjaVXaV7BF_5e2KZokFEogqHiCTm-5yEtGYwtxuHmI8IwYfnCx7aV9_QXND9H6j9eSwupXWA6M-GkeeBu5YmfJ6FKoUjnYKKqSoxhkcnr4SVQ-kQLhG8NnX6RNd7jF717rJzxDu4/s585/409054398_10160304507839164_1609750862140073042_n.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="260" data-original-width="585" height="178" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjeYLv0qvK9tIJncnyXLoV_d3lsS7oWs10RdX9rDRpmWhRAbXHDhl4vjaVXaV7BF_5e2KZokFEogqHiCTm-5yEtGYwtxuHmI8IwYfnCx7aV9_QXND9H6j9eSwupXWA6M-GkeeBu5YmfJ6FKoUjnYKKqSoxhkcnr4SVQ-kQLhG8NnX6RNd7jF717rJzxDu4/w400-h178/409054398_10160304507839164_1609750862140073042_n.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiL-m2CV_gzmAm-I4uSVfT51zGaQUtQUbTO30HZzVyUxXnt-A6aUAwT8HpHsI-VuL7pt116efomJB0ca713dv6WOF9tV8QipaZOJCjP7QViPnzjUzo4msNizqDPTlymeX_AjyzdY4GSx84Ws6gvnyvoGkkOm3pc-jflZCCRoc-yJND8FubsYxQHn_FrSSs/s600/430080683_10160304507819164_3285330679599311907_n.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="331" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiL-m2CV_gzmAm-I4uSVfT51zGaQUtQUbTO30HZzVyUxXnt-A6aUAwT8HpHsI-VuL7pt116efomJB0ca713dv6WOF9tV8QipaZOJCjP7QViPnzjUzo4msNizqDPTlymeX_AjyzdY4GSx84Ws6gvnyvoGkkOm3pc-jflZCCRoc-yJND8FubsYxQHn_FrSSs/w221-h400/430080683_10160304507819164_3285330679599311907_n.jpg" width="221" /></a></div><br /><p><br /></p>Blue Daisyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15047262316226497785noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-741829573179790010.post-41024792470474315032024-02-19T14:39:00.003+00:002024-02-19T14:39:34.177+00:00Little Bird<p> Hi, </p><p>Here we are with another Monday! So with my playlist on, and the desk still pretty messy, I found my folder full of Tracey Hey stamps and got the alcohol markers out! Coloured this little guy, cut him out and just went for a pretty simple layout. I'm really loving the colour combo! </p><p>I hope, wherever you are, you're enjoying your Sunday and living your best life. What a wild day it is today - storm Isha rocks huge parts of the UK. There's no trains running today.. and I'm very glad I don't have to go anywhere! I thought I would have a little play in the craft room today. I really still need to try and tidy it up. The main problem at the moment is finding things. The ideas are there but the mojo disappears with the thought of having to hunt for whatever it is I need! </p><p>I did make a little card to use up some scraps on my desk though. I'm quite pleased with how it turned out. Just a little bit of colouring which was really relaxing! </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiFbJw8NdKE4h84Tj8KkOsbD1fgcplauuWHEFY49lxNB8aledcX-ykIF-uHl4kGL37Ww-H62SlRSY_7RkgiAJra5fKJ6_S6vh2xc18msF423ucjCokN_MlDpDwr_h-lABpWQhiviJH0mZdc2jWD7v9cGLluKq0Gz_3WYjHUJKsTZG9w3Eg64Zwt_zRSXEA/s3728/DSCN0785.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2796" data-original-width="3728" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiFbJw8NdKE4h84Tj8KkOsbD1fgcplauuWHEFY49lxNB8aledcX-ykIF-uHl4kGL37Ww-H62SlRSY_7RkgiAJra5fKJ6_S6vh2xc18msF423ucjCokN_MlDpDwr_h-lABpWQhiviJH0mZdc2jWD7v9cGLluKq0Gz_3WYjHUJKsTZG9w3Eg64Zwt_zRSXEA/w400-h300/DSCN0785.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><div><br /></div>I'm going to enter this little guy in the following challenges:<div><br /></div><div><a href="https://aperfecttimetocraft.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">A Perfect Time To Craft</a></div><div><a href="https://cardsgalorechallenges.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Crafts Galore Encore</a></div><div><br /></div><div>Have a lovely day! <br /><div><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p></div></div>Blue Daisyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15047262316226497785noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-741829573179790010.post-66335722056143536362024-01-07T18:04:00.003+00:002024-01-07T18:04:49.308+00:00Happy Sunday!<p> Hi! and happy Sunday! </p><p>I hope everyone is having a lovely day! it's been a lazy one here.. some crafting and a trip to the beach. It was kind of cold and not that bright, and the sun started to set around 3:45pm. Got a pic with my phone, and you can see Edinburgh in the background. </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj5wNbmzb1nI3M-lYNeCaSS1koNMGkjLvSMcoJH_DzaJv2Ds__SwaKZBhfz13cH7X2YqSYVhczwbtoEo0nVt1kEGI82nPxR6vMui9hv00FDs88ldX-jRS6ywAZnxTXWhu2Jytkg-4YHzEqfztRlZTwRXyTl5VJ4dCTYymx_Vra8MElJ7yiJykLJ1BGo_ME/s872/413225703_3437315596490946_6898183867338908571_n.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="403" data-original-width="872" height="185" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj5wNbmzb1nI3M-lYNeCaSS1koNMGkjLvSMcoJH_DzaJv2Ds__SwaKZBhfz13cH7X2YqSYVhczwbtoEo0nVt1kEGI82nPxR6vMui9hv00FDs88ldX-jRS6ywAZnxTXWhu2Jytkg-4YHzEqfztRlZTwRXyTl5VJ4dCTYymx_Vra8MElJ7yiJykLJ1BGo_ME/w400-h185/413225703_3437315596490946_6898183867338908571_n.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><div><br /></div>Crafting today was a couple of projects to use up some of my double sided 6x6 papers. These little booklets are a Z fold and have four or five little flaps or pockets to hide pictures, messages, tags or even to be used to give a gift card or money. I found a tutorial on YouTube a while back (and now can't find it again! but if you are stuck for ideas it's a great place to go!) Great fun to make and no scrap is too small when it comes to making embellishments for them too! You need 1 full sheet of 6x6 and then a 3 3/4x5 and a 3x5. These create the Z fold then you just add any extras for little pockets and embellishments. There's really no right or wrong to this and you can just do your own thing. Handy to have in your stash for a gift or mini book! <div><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjfZzkO92-fbpQo7WIcdrhwQDIRryCdv6P8IT0UsFvKgMy2NZfttAtJKFWgijjFxD3dHLSHRgQAbY1Ljo5iDUsIkCH4IwGFrtARadxjkHC2tF4q0wtKMblVn0MIDc5H7hdKoLRFUYtFtETJUoyoWpOVS0FVQEf8H-FHtK1yWFK2BC6rYW9PCnHlfqJsOnQ/s4102/DSCN0784.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="3076" data-original-width="4102" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjfZzkO92-fbpQo7WIcdrhwQDIRryCdv6P8IT0UsFvKgMy2NZfttAtJKFWgijjFxD3dHLSHRgQAbY1Ljo5iDUsIkCH4IwGFrtARadxjkHC2tF4q0wtKMblVn0MIDc5H7hdKoLRFUYtFtETJUoyoWpOVS0FVQEf8H-FHtK1yWFK2BC6rYW9PCnHlfqJsOnQ/w400-h300/DSCN0784.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><br /><div>Enjoy the rest of the weekend! <br /><p><br /></p></div>Blue Daisyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15047262316226497785noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-741829573179790010.post-27030996288186169072023-12-24T12:19:00.001+00:002023-12-24T12:19:09.170+00:00Merry Christmas!<p> Hi! Well it's the eve of Christmas Eve and already I'm unable to work out what day of the week it is! A quick make for this morning with, hopefully, some more crafty time this afternoon. But, for now, I'm off to finish wrapping pressies! </p><p>Have a lovely Saturday! </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg-5E-cBeDu1plWtE4LJ9Tzcr3IH4Sd5MLPeA75oLdeYi9C9Um6s_ZrobmAr8dA7zPBv5ZbnSyVEQ2fjDlLcQ5MUMLhXABmF-xByaQpfV5a6gcn0mDM9xKyZ9If42ES45nN6GqEhjOnVgdAduX4APO9D0U1XPnaE1pS0hvkpRFFS6reH6QtjySpzdHMFN0/s2607/DSCN0779.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2086" data-original-width="2607" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg-5E-cBeDu1plWtE4LJ9Tzcr3IH4Sd5MLPeA75oLdeYi9C9Um6s_ZrobmAr8dA7zPBv5ZbnSyVEQ2fjDlLcQ5MUMLhXABmF-xByaQpfV5a6gcn0mDM9xKyZ9If42ES45nN6GqEhjOnVgdAduX4APO9D0U1XPnaE1pS0hvkpRFFS6reH6QtjySpzdHMFN0/w400-h320/DSCN0779.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><br /><p></p>Blue Daisyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15047262316226497785noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-741829573179790010.post-58175742176606047512023-12-17T12:29:00.000+00:002023-12-17T12:29:11.777+00:00Happy Sunday! <p> Hi! I hope you've had a lovely week! It's been another busy one for me. I had great intentions to do some tidying in the craft room but that's not materialised other than I did manage to get some of the presents that were lying around wrapped which has cleared a bit of floor space!! So now my good intentions to tidy up will continue into any available free time this week! I have to try and make some room as I've a bumper parcel from Stampin' Up! coming hopefully mid week!</p><p>I am trying to keep my crafty hand in the game though so I made this little birthday card. I love this little guy! Kept it simple with the colours! </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgow5CSdmdx8NaRBt-tmd3BG0ZDgW7gdohmaYNJI6K0olxASil309vQ3Kkf95n006o47r1cIo_hUe0ZHIWUPC0s7eqXPvqjfVHUgqzrJ4y3fiqxn7iHL2smlsgt125U4ddvVjJlkY8aRHZwLznHb0CLWnudyvq0TumRavOqF_YZW00eGhpWav-tSjYnz_o/s2782/DSCN0775.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2782" data-original-width="2225" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgow5CSdmdx8NaRBt-tmd3BG0ZDgW7gdohmaYNJI6K0olxASil309vQ3Kkf95n006o47r1cIo_hUe0ZHIWUPC0s7eqXPvqjfVHUgqzrJ4y3fiqxn7iHL2smlsgt125U4ddvVjJlkY8aRHZwLznHb0CLWnudyvq0TumRavOqF_YZW00eGhpWav-tSjYnz_o/w320-h400/DSCN0775.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Hope you have a lovely and productive Sunday!</div><br /><p></p>Blue Daisyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15047262316226497785noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-741829573179790010.post-16759717212521025312023-12-04T15:41:00.003+00:002023-12-04T15:41:56.614+00:00Rainy Day!<p>Hi! Well, after all the snow on Friday night the rain today has cleared nearly all of it! Mind you, it's not stopped all day! So, another lazy one. I really should be wrapping pressies or, at the very least, tidying up the craft room! But no, just made a little card instead. I like Christmas with non-traditional colours! </p><p><br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjHpGjiZDWOE8s_Z6WSMb9Qfpd2zw6NTTpvDzlsbHflZr8MOv5Dp96eO6TAEiJa0IIYkxXiNXt0tIz6Ot1qHRblgjavVK3aP4RZyihLX64Nv6yC6g48FwwdgQwzcrFqSW8v6Jil1njoOU9tIDv7uGlXVyRWQTMxtMaOVzMOxHSEfWGyyrOaza8cTQch22A/s2322/DSCN0776.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1858" data-original-width="2322" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjHpGjiZDWOE8s_Z6WSMb9Qfpd2zw6NTTpvDzlsbHflZr8MOv5Dp96eO6TAEiJa0IIYkxXiNXt0tIz6Ot1qHRblgjavVK3aP4RZyihLX64Nv6yC6g48FwwdgQwzcrFqSW8v6Jil1njoOU9tIDv7uGlXVyRWQTMxtMaOVzMOxHSEfWGyyrOaza8cTQch22A/w400-h320/DSCN0776.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><br /><p></p>Blue Daisyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15047262316226497785noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-741829573179790010.post-60327811018928091172023-12-03T16:00:00.002+00:002023-12-03T16:00:29.762+00:00A little Christmas make!<p> Hi! </p><p>Brrr! it's a cold day here and the snow from yesterday hasn't shifted! That's no good. It's been quite a busy six months, nothing major, but just enough to kind of lose the crafty bug. I'm sure most crafters go through that at some time or other and sometimes it's really difficult to get motivated again. </p><p>I decided to have a bit of a craftroom clear out so I could see more things that I had that would inspire me and it's worked... a bit. I still have way too much stuff but I have been fairly good at not buying too many new things! The clear out isn't finished yet either!! </p><p>But I thought I would stop filling black bags and have a bit of a play! I used colour to inspire this one, starting off with a small scrap of paper from Stampin' Up! in Soft Succulent. Then I coloured one of the Woolly Jumpers from Carabelle Studio in Soft Succulent and Smoky Slate. Other scraps added and some Tim Holtz collage paper.</p><p>I hope you like it! I'm going to enter it in an Anything Goes challenge over at<a href="http://lilpatchofcraftyfriends.blogspot.com/" target="_blank"> Lil Patch of Crafty Friends</a>.</p><p>Hope you have a lovely day! </p><p><br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh3rOwBcku62964BiePby0V14QMF2h8IUVwYjsHSvCg38jDQCuZTuUfrkEi3O4KO-rlXQjmto05PCkMBMUhI_ClPhmhCOfwdA0G02fGDXqCDnFw3Yx4ypzIYJUcreDX8JZsv_3hvmxX77OD2nZxD91MV8W-4_MOMBBm2khQRsfXKOzR6sViYdATy6BP/s2038/DSCN0768.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2038" data-original-width="2038" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh3rOwBcku62964BiePby0V14QMF2h8IUVwYjsHSvCg38jDQCuZTuUfrkEi3O4KO-rlXQjmto05PCkMBMUhI_ClPhmhCOfwdA0G02fGDXqCDnFw3Yx4ypzIYJUcreDX8JZsv_3hvmxX77OD2nZxD91MV8W-4_MOMBBm2khQRsfXKOzR6sViYdATy6BP/w400-h400/DSCN0768.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhW3eTu-Df91erOKBdmMKMqI9Ulf6DX_B7ktMbS2so37KjloVDLx7nQjFRvfj9MMv0qTlYRomlnv0s1RAOeANVC0Py7DFrFgjHHxMYBBLyNtcAuOEXKFIT5pxbjulu05fAf7EW8TEMoftJE_cO4AbExOwsIVoUe0_tK37IiKFoJY-vFx9OPbv3_o0fE/s3119/DSCN0769.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2339" data-original-width="3119" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhW3eTu-Df91erOKBdmMKMqI9Ulf6DX_B7ktMbS2so37KjloVDLx7nQjFRvfj9MMv0qTlYRomlnv0s1RAOeANVC0Py7DFrFgjHHxMYBBLyNtcAuOEXKFIT5pxbjulu05fAf7EW8TEMoftJE_cO4AbExOwsIVoUe0_tK37IiKFoJY-vFx9OPbv3_o0fE/s320/DSCN0769.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><p><br /></p>Blue Daisyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15047262316226497785noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-741829573179790010.post-52642438836632854472023-04-23T17:02:00.001+01:002023-04-23T17:02:14.357+01:00Look at you!<p> Hey! Happy Sunday! </p><p>Where does the time go? Not long back from a week away in a lovely dog friendly cottage and then a busy week catching up at work. I decided to have some me time today. The main aim was to clear some space in the craft room as I'm expecting quite a few parcels in the next few days. Needless to say, I failed.. I have made no new space as I just can't bear to part with stuff! </p><p>I did stop tidying to make a quick card though. I recently got a gorgeous set of stamps and dies from Mama Elephant called Stackable Cuties so I thought I would do some quick colouring. I could easily have kept on just colouring but I stopped to make this quick little rocker card. It's plain and simple but I had fun making it! </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgKKgosys9rHw-IH1uq3-px0yUR-TpsGauawlewhY30r6CNoUD3c8idy2FsAU6BrflaWgzSzj_yVNQkunLz4QGlfM6rdua9O1-T3ZnqOlF6TuZDpjTMpPv3aX_hi8AFQAhuODKB7GhB0OQlULgLl9mR71Kr6zQzs_2t2eNEjMDrBGopfBLl0aC8fnDe/s2248/DSCN0772.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1686" data-original-width="2248" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgKKgosys9rHw-IH1uq3-px0yUR-TpsGauawlewhY30r6CNoUD3c8idy2FsAU6BrflaWgzSzj_yVNQkunLz4QGlfM6rdua9O1-T3ZnqOlF6TuZDpjTMpPv3aX_hi8AFQAhuODKB7GhB0OQlULgLl9mR71Kr6zQzs_2t2eNEjMDrBGopfBLl0aC8fnDe/w400-h300/DSCN0772.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><br /><p>Have a lovely Sunday! </p>Blue Daisyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15047262316226497785noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-741829573179790010.post-17795668189055513602023-03-19T14:04:00.004+00:002023-03-19T14:06:30.941+00:00Mothers Day Flowers!<p> Hi! </p><p>Happy Sunday everyone! I'm having a lazy day today and enjoying being spoiled on Mothers Day!</p><p>It's been a really busy week at work, and yesterday was spent visiting family then some crafty time with some like minded ladies. Very relaxing! We were doing some decopatch on eggs for Easter.</p><p>Today I thought I'd have a look through some dies that I've not used for a while and came across one set I hadn't used at all! Great fun making this really easy 3d flower pot! And it folds flat which would make it a great card! </p><p>I hope you like it, and that you're having a lovely Sunday! </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjp3k1aRFZODPsocb0_E_ujZ4pAkmYUp6hmSM6YDvGwdFgzwAPvy4m1T8Hb4wlfAuTIm5ADcGWlQqh3Vk79XY_pmRUQZgrrCpq8y3PNOHwXnzluiOTpMikQ3D2MwuKOP2WG0EDCgd_AKYbZRPKatzJV_mDsYR3rkdgeDfYjpHUZPFQYJDSPE-5moMoU/s2842/DSCN0770.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2842" data-original-width="1894" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjp3k1aRFZODPsocb0_E_ujZ4pAkmYUp6hmSM6YDvGwdFgzwAPvy4m1T8Hb4wlfAuTIm5ADcGWlQqh3Vk79XY_pmRUQZgrrCpq8y3PNOHwXnzluiOTpMikQ3D2MwuKOP2WG0EDCgd_AKYbZRPKatzJV_mDsYR3rkdgeDfYjpHUZPFQYJDSPE-5moMoU/w426-h640/DSCN0770.jpg" width="426" /></a></div><br /><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p>Blue Daisyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15047262316226497785noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-741829573179790010.post-28577243724655701982023-03-13T14:24:00.001+00:002023-03-13T14:24:34.545+00:00A Sweet Treat<p> Hi! (day to avoid housework and look forward to a lovely lamb roast for dinner!)</p><p>And time to play! </p><p>I think this may be one of my new favourite stamp sets. It's Stampin' Up! "A Fish and a Wish". I love the way they have done the textured look on the fish and the fact you get a great splatter dots stamp to use in the background. </p><p>I've gone with Orchid Oasis and Pretty Peacock as the colour scheme for this one. Orchid Oasis is one of my favourite colours ever! </p><p>Hope you're having a lovely crafty weekend!</p><p><br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiWw8VJumLuRRFcgNW3zjG_anxdo3-sw1yXUTcXQc11-cUeCiidAz106g6oSFwPOQrAEXucoQWHtCeMDRILW7xujCeUnHHsgmndK-qJEJ9GVQDPEiMCDWD7tKuy_xPkWx6BwTQ2pc-Err93PEF897CIhjJ5uAnXT-zePnmvRd4ApyXlYIvmTiyJQcpy/s3015/DSCN0763.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="3015" data-original-width="2412" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiWw8VJumLuRRFcgNW3zjG_anxdo3-sw1yXUTcXQc11-cUeCiidAz106g6oSFwPOQrAEXucoQWHtCeMDRILW7xujCeUnHHsgmndK-qJEJ9GVQDPEiMCDWD7tKuy_xPkWx6BwTQ2pc-Err93PEF897CIhjJ5uAnXT-zePnmvRd4ApyXlYIvmTiyJQcpy/w320-h400/DSCN0763.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><p><br /></p><p><br /></p>Blue Daisyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15047262316226497785noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-741829573179790010.post-15646407820324224702023-03-11T16:00:00.004+00:002023-03-11T16:00:00.221+00:00Just monkeying around<p> Hi! </p><p>Happy Saturday! It's a cold one here today and we're supposed to get snow... but no sign of it so far!</p><p>I've been having a crafty play today... I've not used my alcohol markers for ages so I thought I would try and get back in the habit! I've used this little guy from Whippersnapper (which I've had for years!) and coloured him using Stampin' blends.</p><p>Nothing fancy on this card but I think I'm starting to prefer a CAS look generally. </p><p><br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiCMhoKT6_UDKWHYsOkNdEmkN68BoBG-i3WD2H6YcusMY5yiXPZ7gz8kyCZZQTMik5nD-sEWQXVfUufNSzo6AcewsAuvDWBJ548i6XXOwe-x0T_v1e8Wwrm-YNgZahLcn9mgZFFRQUrHQNYFzP67AR4RGKkSMGQaSjLP1pZh6ZyfuPzyM-MXH-aO-lf/s2835/DSCN0764.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2835" data-original-width="2268" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiCMhoKT6_UDKWHYsOkNdEmkN68BoBG-i3WD2H6YcusMY5yiXPZ7gz8kyCZZQTMik5nD-sEWQXVfUufNSzo6AcewsAuvDWBJ548i6XXOwe-x0T_v1e8Wwrm-YNgZahLcn9mgZFFRQUrHQNYFzP67AR4RGKkSMGQaSjLP1pZh6ZyfuPzyM-MXH-aO-lf/w320-h400/DSCN0764.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><p><br /></p><p><br /></p>Blue Daisyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15047262316226497785noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-741829573179790010.post-60017093145936976562023-03-10T17:03:00.000+00:002023-03-10T17:03:00.224+00:00I missed this one<p> Hi! I really thought I had posted this pic before. Back in Oct last year I started playing with Jesmonite. I'm still hooked and these are just some of the little trinket trays I have made. These are so easy and quick to make! I've been using Stampin' Up! re-inkers to colour the mix and they've set really well.</p><p>They are really handy to have on your craft desk if you are making small die cuts or beading as I typically lose things! </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjehKbcGmRHBNuomfhjJFwWktqg2WY4IoPTWw098KRXeoXy2CLHeuNSZn0-XfBhXUKaSFRFDfG_Rj_fB1ZbyA2DwYu69BQTo6DoP2C1ck3Gwcq4vBRaEpYcCqPTL-cP9gg68uExaAJrwM04Hsxoy8CHTJ4b3hvFHvMShjeY3MF3aVUtBp5Vl42i2VC5/s2048/318013253_562302635905589_7547753945501891601_n.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1536" data-original-width="2048" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjehKbcGmRHBNuomfhjJFwWktqg2WY4IoPTWw098KRXeoXy2CLHeuNSZn0-XfBhXUKaSFRFDfG_Rj_fB1ZbyA2DwYu69BQTo6DoP2C1ck3Gwcq4vBRaEpYcCqPTL-cP9gg68uExaAJrwM04Hsxoy8CHTJ4b3hvFHvMShjeY3MF3aVUtBp5Vl42i2VC5/w400-h300/318013253_562302635905589_7547753945501891601_n.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><br /><p><br /></p><p><br /></p>Blue Daisyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15047262316226497785noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-741829573179790010.post-61213130185357056532023-03-10T16:13:00.001+00:002023-03-10T16:13:36.303+00:00It's coming up carrots<p>Hi! </p><p>Wow, I can't believe my last post here was October! I have still been crafting in that time, maybe not as much as I would have liked. I've just not felt like blogging even though lots of positive stuff has happened. I'll try and catch up! </p><p>All is good though and I'm hoping this will be the start of a seriously fun crafty year! I suppose the main crafty resolution will be to use what I have! Although I know that won't happen! Not with so many lovely new crafty items out there. </p><p>Today I've been playing with the new "Thanks a Bunch" from Stampin Up! which was available as a Sale-a-bration reward. To be honest, I wasn't really sure if I would use this set but it was really quite fun, and I love the finished effect on the carrots! I've layered white on white which I think gives a nice effect. The tartan paper is from Memory Box (Madras Plaid Coral and Green).</p><p>I hope you like it! </p><p><br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg3L-rf8DjetydfLx5CPrN-PbXxA0PRAF0efmVoVW2FjGcar6XIPx7huwM67oXO6BfzA0d1Ydyv6zMu1VaDG-s5c118xh98EDuyOsJuB49w5GJ6wls_uOSKPvAUEahLZIX7WbvZLU8xMOEKCcHvUdwKg1wkrfvIuXZqsQGuykJvH0LnzJQ7147ipaXe/s2540/DSCN0761.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2540" data-original-width="2540" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg3L-rf8DjetydfLx5CPrN-PbXxA0PRAF0efmVoVW2FjGcar6XIPx7huwM67oXO6BfzA0d1Ydyv6zMu1VaDG-s5c118xh98EDuyOsJuB49w5GJ6wls_uOSKPvAUEahLZIX7WbvZLU8xMOEKCcHvUdwKg1wkrfvIuXZqsQGuykJvH0LnzJQ7147ipaXe/w400-h400/DSCN0761.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj6VYw9V69gfdK8H-PPgUMbnuMF6EB2E1_f3zBfuWRrFykk0OOo7Ez1fXzDP_rfMsdxCl3VgFpnNPU1uAGpGvh2u7Dj6L1NgDvgbYHiJWkPwYjDeVm2LI12sVXwyeLky3CmktJ1-bXCWCIJkESHathqaOxv9Uosw-FSB3Pxec4YEnhCRSc9SI9jxfMm/s2337/DSCN0762.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1753" data-original-width="2337" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj6VYw9V69gfdK8H-PPgUMbnuMF6EB2E1_f3zBfuWRrFykk0OOo7Ez1fXzDP_rfMsdxCl3VgFpnNPU1uAGpGvh2u7Dj6L1NgDvgbYHiJWkPwYjDeVm2LI12sVXwyeLky3CmktJ1-bXCWCIJkESHathqaOxv9Uosw-FSB3Pxec4YEnhCRSc9SI9jxfMm/s320/DSCN0762.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div><br /></div>Hope you're having a lovely day!<br /><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p>Blue Daisyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15047262316226497785noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-741829573179790010.post-89600401917441044912022-10-21T15:42:00.003+01:002022-10-21T15:42:52.244+01:00Little bits and pieces<p> Hi! </p><p>Well, it's Friday already! Another quick week. I was doing a bit of tidying out today - so a black bag full of craft stuff is heading the way of the recycling! I did find some die cuts I had done last year (or maybe even the year before!) so I thought I would throw together a Christmas card. And here it is. It really couldn't be simpler. I used the dotty embossing folder to make the background look like snow but unfortunately didn't have the embossing start right at the top of the card. So I had to improvise - the result is it's now a book fold card and the lack of embossing is covered by the gold ribbon. I also used some washi tape and a scrap of tartan paper as the background. </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjCaCC0TdJEHnh0C2UfD0M_4_hqYshHRN8Y2fG2RWp3RgtqpawcdyK9E6nTDaJEv5N0kfS8ebhU3-ymIt2dI28eG_djobQ_tgQEZihVMS2Vnm23itFAcYqbMuFUnKspd5ssStNWifrZM6Bjrsw97MX56Zt0l2gUQABTvdlLUivk8dxr_nu1Lbs1WYiW/s3348/DSCN0754.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2511" data-original-width="3348" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjCaCC0TdJEHnh0C2UfD0M_4_hqYshHRN8Y2fG2RWp3RgtqpawcdyK9E6nTDaJEv5N0kfS8ebhU3-ymIt2dI28eG_djobQ_tgQEZihVMS2Vnm23itFAcYqbMuFUnKspd5ssStNWifrZM6Bjrsw97MX56Zt0l2gUQABTvdlLUivk8dxr_nu1Lbs1WYiW/w400-h300/DSCN0754.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><br /><p><br /></p>Blue Daisyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15047262316226497785noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-741829573179790010.post-3673998089203168462022-10-20T16:27:00.005+01:002022-10-20T16:27:54.111+01:00Playing with scraps <p> Hi!</p><p>Well, it's a miserable day here today. I don't think the rain has stopped even for a moment! But who cares? Certainly not me! After a lovely family day with the doggo at the beach yesterday the weather can do whatever it likes! My attention did turn to the pile of scrap paper that's just been getting bigger and bigger these last view weeks so I decided to have a play and see what I could use. Two cards for today!</p><p><br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhkI_xpyJGc0sKuLN-tT04ze6t2IHZ5pG6VoGa-QbYzsDMcwzHomL7-iwfFYvVuRcCOyMdeoO7kkzzyxNVK2ERzsfM_a6WD3jtim4_41xh5O8l6poADugu04LmWyaVg7HWlXj41pr3AwGTw0ldAwo7ZZo96RherNXAHm2zK_3gNNNx53zqJq5mnyLiM/s4306/DSCN0750.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2870" data-original-width="4306" height="266" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhkI_xpyJGc0sKuLN-tT04ze6t2IHZ5pG6VoGa-QbYzsDMcwzHomL7-iwfFYvVuRcCOyMdeoO7kkzzyxNVK2ERzsfM_a6WD3jtim4_41xh5O8l6poADugu04LmWyaVg7HWlXj41pr3AwGTw0ldAwo7ZZo96RherNXAHm2zK_3gNNNx53zqJq5mnyLiM/w400-h266/DSCN0750.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhji6LLoNX5ne0gdS1hm9bsqxSw6G6KgXBW0uDuPo5aD15jt9nS-IDLiNrNBB07XYYigZIk8PoAPPeMd9q3SyxhzAoEni8aqnRVsaRLsSjVGVXY4eC52JClaClakyFzkx0zis57vr0KqbAprJQFBt3Q2bZ01p9cd1aLmFJNk0TXlE4BQwJQJRAKRNK9/s3690/DSCN0748.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2767" data-original-width="3690" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhji6LLoNX5ne0gdS1hm9bsqxSw6G6KgXBW0uDuPo5aD15jt9nS-IDLiNrNBB07XYYigZIk8PoAPPeMd9q3SyxhzAoEni8aqnRVsaRLsSjVGVXY4eC52JClaClakyFzkx0zis57vr0KqbAprJQFBt3Q2bZ01p9cd1aLmFJNk0TXlE4BQwJQJRAKRNK9/w400-h300/DSCN0748.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><br /><p><br /></p>Blue Daisyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15047262316226497785noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-741829573179790010.post-9931485619481545512022-10-16T16:27:00.003+01:002022-10-16T16:27:53.199+01:00Birthday Martian<p> Hi! We're half way through October already! And it's starting to get colder. Personally, I love this time of the year. The darker nights coming in! Also perfect time to get crafting! </p><p>I've not had a chance to do much in the last couple of weeks with the exception of yesterday and today. Time spent yesterday afternoon with good friends crafting was just a lovely way to spend the afternoon and we were doing something a bit different - we were needle felting little pictures. A very therapeutic way to spend the time stabbing away with a felting needle - very de-stressing! </p><p><br />I think I like the first one with the sheep on a hillside better than the second one - but you have to start somewhere!</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhhbOlMKHe8hLFwZJa-JhcZ-paOA4-JrAbogIMesvVkrBKzNwtCvQsY3qZ5LPQ4V47KwY6YkyDiMy7GTpfdCOKXFyYKGGjWQRa_CIIRULJds1k0QDe7PykuCcOGSWKv0DIf0ATFkWHEmvMVREUmUyUsIQJZosgEEAjj49zK0y76lTcOPu6pNgQzjq3B/s600/310580426_10159288664664164_652849089586705536_n.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="593" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhhbOlMKHe8hLFwZJa-JhcZ-paOA4-JrAbogIMesvVkrBKzNwtCvQsY3qZ5LPQ4V47KwY6YkyDiMy7GTpfdCOKXFyYKGGjWQRa_CIIRULJds1k0QDe7PykuCcOGSWKv0DIf0ATFkWHEmvMVREUmUyUsIQJZosgEEAjj49zK0y76lTcOPu6pNgQzjq3B/w395-h400/310580426_10159288664664164_652849089586705536_n.jpg" width="395" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgxQThip1SjCWumb-ubFLzihtpR-6Vcd-u04cb0S0KTl_jyJoarkGNzfE6Ka9yzIUEtbYHPyZ-q9L56cVXAMg4xoroiSdCY-WKISH11JhpFhGGV7nn6L7D2gVkoK7BxxJAizk9UGPKa3d8KdPSMUjw8sEOoVjn1hA0qwIzigdzCwAM2x_xVVLQDCqvi/s600/309434650_10159288664399164_2542348295215308169_n.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="589" data-original-width="600" height="393" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgxQThip1SjCWumb-ubFLzihtpR-6Vcd-u04cb0S0KTl_jyJoarkGNzfE6Ka9yzIUEtbYHPyZ-q9L56cVXAMg4xoroiSdCY-WKISH11JhpFhGGV7nn6L7D2gVkoK7BxxJAizk9UGPKa3d8KdPSMUjw8sEOoVjn1hA0qwIzigdzCwAM2x_xVVLQDCqvi/w400-h393/309434650_10159288664399164_2542348295215308169_n.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">When I came back from the crafty afternoon I spent some time playing with Jesmonite. Great fun! I only bought a small amount to try it and I've finished it so I'll need to try and get some more. Made 2 leaf coasters (broken the stem on one taking it out of the mold - my fault), then made a double tea light holder. I'm really impressed with this product - so very easy to use!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh9m1myPWIHFCMOdsoNhrwqnkPWYP02UDaE6P9uVXhDaVGzomK71BHN0RyzxbCxbrI3_wnMLUqcRD6FdZkadgB4JFKSO3ao-au6iGFX_C3RjipoqP2oBmL5tVlEm3jTkyZZM4Dr2yGERhXbh7d3uDtWP7DvsZiX_3GfItUbi9ANbWk6ZktZn0vfBa72/s600/309118131_10159288664829164_6906875889548650752_n.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="277" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh9m1myPWIHFCMOdsoNhrwqnkPWYP02UDaE6P9uVXhDaVGzomK71BHN0RyzxbCxbrI3_wnMLUqcRD6FdZkadgB4JFKSO3ao-au6iGFX_C3RjipoqP2oBmL5tVlEm3jTkyZZM4Dr2yGERhXbh7d3uDtWP7DvsZiX_3GfItUbi9ANbWk6ZktZn0vfBa72/w185-h400/309118131_10159288664829164_6906875889548650752_n.jpg" width="185" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><br /><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p>Blue Daisyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15047262316226497785noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-741829573179790010.post-76630379588918467442022-09-26T12:15:00.003+01:002022-09-26T12:15:50.632+01:00It's time for tea!<p> Hello! and yes, it is time for tea! I've just noticed it's just after noon so a perfect time in the day for a break and a cup of tea before getting ready for a crafty afternoon with friends! </p><p>I took my inspiration for my card today from another sketch challenge. This one is at <a href="http://sweetsketchwednesday2.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Sweet Sketch Wednesday</a>. Lot's of layers on this card. A change for me as I've been tending towards CAS for my more recent cards. Which means my paper stash is just constantly growing because not using it does not mean I don't buy it!! </p><p>I hope you like it. It's Stampin' Up! "Cup of Tea", matching papers, dies and the new In Colors.</p><p><br /></p><p>Have a lovely day! </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiTmFR1rWYK_Ua5Z8k1KrM0AkAhOvc2Kf7D0CTpvo5PJ3OiFUh7SUH647Rd3TK4uKjrE7p109TpoXMnXCHIvlH0Ng6sT17nMbgMoUtxe4h6UlQyUPwwqJGF5HmRUfrdip1Ptvp31j35bTybfiDceZEdd0eS8M6ErJ0K7n5m_nJ7csHEYnYJbz-FO0RU/s3435/DSCN0740.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2576" data-original-width="3435" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiTmFR1rWYK_Ua5Z8k1KrM0AkAhOvc2Kf7D0CTpvo5PJ3OiFUh7SUH647Rd3TK4uKjrE7p109TpoXMnXCHIvlH0Ng6sT17nMbgMoUtxe4h6UlQyUPwwqJGF5HmRUfrdip1Ptvp31j35bTybfiDceZEdd0eS8M6ErJ0K7n5m_nJ7csHEYnYJbz-FO0RU/w400-h300/DSCN0740.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><br /><p><br /></p>Blue Daisyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15047262316226497785noreply@blogger.com2
