From Penny Black - 2002. I've not really used this stamp much in the past. I'm pleased with the results with Copics though - nice and bright!

Red Berries
Found some papers and greetings from last Christmas - from Craftwork Cards - thought I would give them an outing! The hedgehog is Penny Black (as if you didn't know!)
Christmas Snowman
A change of look for this little guy - coloured in copics this time. The papers are from DCWV (Rose Tinted Christmas).

Magical Santa
Not sure I like this so much but it was hard to concentrate - or maybe it's because this is such a difficult stamp to make look bright like you would expect Santa to be!

Brrrr...
This could well be my favourite Christmas stamp from Elzybells. She's coloured with Copics (Pale Lilac, Mauve Shadow and Prune). With a wee touch of stickles to finish it off!
newest addition to the family
Our dear bramble died at the start of June and our house doesn't feel complete without her. Now that we have moved and got holidays out of the way we have decided to add to our family - hopefully by 2 (cats!!).
This little lady is the first of our new cats - she was a stray and is two years old. She's gorgeous! Her name is "Kismet" - how lovely to mean Destiny or Fate. I don't think we will change it but we might call her Kizzy for short.
She's just settling into her new home at the moment and finding her way about. She has a very loud meow! so I'm guessing she will be the boss!

First Christmas Card this year!
Simple Pleasures
This is my first card for ages - even with being away on holiday last week!
I think "Simple Pleasures" works as a name for this one very well! I've used paper piecing on this on for the bubbles and bath tub. The colouring is done using Copic Ciao markers. The flowers are Prima Esprit and the scalloped edge is done using a Fiskars "Threading Water" punch. The papers are from a pack of Blue and Raspberry by Deja Views.

I haven't crafted for ages!
On a non-crafty note - I've made a cheesecake this afternoon! A first for me!
oooh! New stamp!
I've been looking for this one for ages - it's by Stamps Happen - the image is by Caolyn Shores Wright. I think it will a real challenge to colour as the detail is amazing! Can't wait to have a go! It will be the first Christmas thing I've done!
