What have I been doing?

Well it's been such a busy week, it was great to get a chance yesterday to make some cards!  Still on the wave on inspiration from the Papeterie, I loved making these three cards for a work friend.

Rudolf!

Just lovin' this little reindeer chap! He's too cute!  Made these tags (8cm x12cm) as either tags or toppers.. not sure what to do with them yet!   Think I'll make more though!  Glitter, glue, ink and stamps + diecuts = heaven!
Inks include SU!, Adirondack, Memento and Tim Holtz Distress.

Started but not finished!

Been having a play with Tim Holtz papers and some Frantage (chunky white and aged silver).. I think this will end up being the front cover of a little book/album.  (I need to find my Bind it All)..
Great fun playing with this and my new allium stamp.  The inks used are Tim Holtz Distress Inks in Walnut Stain and Tea Dye.

Fun Fun Fun!

Will probably finish this tomorrow.
It's a wild night here, I think the rain is coming sideways!   A lovely night to get cozy on the couch!

And another one!

Third one made.  Slightly different colourway each time.  I love this stamp!

Can you see the flowers and leaves have a slight sparkle?  I used the Champagne Mist from Stampin' Up! and just painted it over the edge of the flowers and the leaves - really lovely effect in real life - not sure the photo does it justice!

Another calendar!

She really is a lovely image to colour!

Inspired to make....

Calendars!!

Flower from the Elegant pad from Craftwork Cards.

Just loved colouring my new Gorjuss Girl with ProMarkers..   her dress is Tea Green and Pastel Beige.  I'm practising my blending!

Crafty Weekend!

Brrr what a cold, windy and miserable day it is here!  I need to go and put the heating on and make a cup of tea!  Complete contrast to the lovely fresh weather of the weekend! Had the most amazing weekend with a great bunch of friendly and amazingly talented people at the Papeterie!
Here's 4 out of the 5 projects made over the weekend - the 5th is hanging on the wall already so I'll need to take it down to take a pic!

Had a great time playing with loads of amazing products! Including those from Tim Holtz, Craftwork Cards, Hero Arts, Letraset and Sizzix!   Also managed to squeeze in a wee bit of shopping (obviously - kind of goes without saying!)

A little shopping list

Been making little shopping list note pads.. Great fun!

Monochromatic Princess

Something a wee bit different for me.  This little princess is coloured with pro markers.  I've used a feather as an embellishment (first time ever!), some ruffled ribbon and a sparkly button!

Have Fun On Your Birthday

Two cards - same images - different colourways.
Fun to make!

The Cupboard Trilogy Challenge #3

Well, another month disappears!  Where does the time go??

The good thing about the start of a new month is a new challenge goes live over at the Cupboard Trilogy Challenge Blog.  It's a great challenge this month - lots of flexibility and room to create with a Tic Tac Toe!   The idea behind a Tic Tac Toe is you choose a straight line on the grid from either side to side or corner to corner.  You use the techniques in the row you have chosen!

So have a look at the grid and why not try techniques you might not usually use?

Here are my DT entries for Cards and Digi Scrapping. I hope you like them!

Using Pastel Colours, Glitter, and Die Cuts...

Using Bright Colours, Die Cuts and Buttons...

And, in the digi scrapping category.. bright colours, flowers and ribbons!

Why not pop over to our challenge now and get crafty!  From all of us on the DT we would love to see how Tic Tac Toe inspires you!
