Wow! I can't believe how quickly this year is going in! March tomorrow! And one of the best crafty months of the year!
SECC Hobbycrafts this weekend, and then just enough time to recover and then it's the Great Northern Papercraft Extravaganza on the 19th and 20th! Always a great weekend... just unfortunately they are both before the next pay day!!

Lariat, with green porcelain handpainted focal
Ceramic Earrings
Beads
Hello! So much for me blogging every day! I just never seem to get time - although I've no excuse as I've been on holiday for a week! Thought I would try some beading again as it's been absolutely ages since made anything!
I found some gorgeous David Christiansen furnace glass beads that I got at a bead fair about 2 years ago so I thought I would have a go at a bracelet. I made the earrings just to match using some two tone lustre crystals in a very pale blue and lilac. The silver beads are sterling silver so really shiny!
Might go and make some more earrings now!

Baby Face!
Saw this card in Crafts Beautiful (Feb 2011) and thought I would give it a try! The baby face is made with 3 circles cut using nesties the coloured with ProMarkers and some Dovecraft chalk. The papers are DCWV. Used two Cuttlebug embossing folders - "Baby" and "Swiss Dots".
If you want to find the original in the magazine it's on page 40. Great fun to make!

Experiencing Technical Difficulties!
Sorry I've not posted in ages! Been experiencing some technical challenges! New laptop - it's great! Makes me think my last one was powered by a couple of geriatric hamsters! This new one is great - but it has Photoshop Elements as the photo editing tool and I'm totally hopeless with it!! I definately need time to practice! Made loads of wee 12cm x12cm cards to use up some blanks that I had.. and use scraps of paper. I also went through all of my scraps and decided what I was going to keep - cut them all to either 6x6, 5x5, 4x4 or 3x3.. how organised of me!! Just about chopped my finger off with the guillotine one time!
Anyway... this card was just me playing with a new stamp from Stampin' Up.. its one of the stampin around ones called Neighbourhood. Kraft cardstock is Bazzil.
