Chameleons: First Attempt & Initial Thoughts
Hi! Well, finally got some time to play with my new pens! What a week it's been so far.
This is my first attempt with the new Stampin' Up! Blended Bloom stamp. And I have to say I'm really pleased with the results - the effect of the blending solution is amazing and truly does give a "One Pen Blend". It gives a very smooth blend - it's not as harsh as other blenders. This flower is coloured using YO3 (Warm Sunset), with just a touch of OR4 (Seville Orange) in the centre.

So what do they feel like to work with? Great! The tops come off easily, they are well balanced, and the blending time isn't long at all - shorter than it takes to blend with multiple pens.
As for economy - no more going over and over light and dark to achieve the blend - the pens do it all for you so you must be saving on very expensive ink and blending solution!
And... all the parts are refillable/replaceable.
Value for money? at £89.99 there is no doubt they are expensive but my initial view is that they are good value for money - they will last a lifetime! (as long as the refills are available!)
Now.. enough typing.. time to play some more!
I hope this is helpful!

Hi! and a happy Monday everyone! It's a lovely day here in central Scotland - feeling very autumnal though (brrrr!) It doesn't seem like two months since the summer holidays! I think I might have to look through the photos to remind myself!
I've been having a play with some new stamps from Stampin' Up! Hello Love, Chalk Lines and Draw the Line. I absolutely love this little bird.. I know it's simple and so easy to colour but I just think it's so cute!
Not sure what to get up to today. The craft room is looking tidier than it's been in a long time so I should be feeling motivated! Lets see.. do I craft, or do I just procraftinate!!

Naughty and Nice
Hi! This is the second of the two new Visible Image stamp sets that I bought recently. This one is called Molly Rules.
She is just brilliant to colour! And the little accent stamps - splodge, skull and barbed wire - just really add to it!
I coloured her with Copics, Promarkers and Flexmarkers. I used some Pink Wink of Stella glitter just as an accent.

You Rock!
Hi! Brilliant day today.. three of the best things combined.. craft shopping, girly lunch and now some crafty time!
Been playing with my new Visible Image stamps.. some of my latest haul from my not-so-local-but-brilliant craft shop in Cupar (Fife) called Mc Oyster Papercrafts at Poles Apart. They have an absolutely brilliant range of goodies.
Love this guy.. so cool! Made this card to carry on practising with my copics and promarkers. Love the combo of Twilight Sky and Denim Blue for the jeans.
Hope you like it!

First Christmas cards
Well it's been ages since I last posted. Time has been disappearing! Never enough time to craft and too many distractions. I'm going to try and change all that though, and try to get back to regular posts - I was getting better earlier in the year.
I don't usually buy craft magazines but I had to get this months edition of Quick Cards Made Easy just so I could get my hands on these lovely Tiddly Inks stamps. Three little Christmassy Wryns! I hadn't intended to make cards with these, I was just practising colouring. But then I thought no point wasting them!
So here she is, coloured with a mix of Copics, Flexmarkers and Promarkers. I will add a bit of bling to them (as soon as my clear Wink of Stella pen arrives!)

Roarrr!
Hi!
These little guys are a work in progress - great for kids, but really would be great if they were personalised. So I've left them like this for now.
I think I might try and make some more on triangular cards so you don't see the background and I might try the tri-fold that would make them free standing... hmmm, time to experiment I think!
The dies are from Taylored Expressions.

Cheesecake Wish
Hi! I've not played with my Penny Black stamps for ages - so now it's time to go through them and decide if there are any I won't use again. Yes, I think a clear out is in order! (no small task!)
Here is Cheesecake Wish - stamped on SU! Crumb Cake with Memento Tuxedo Black. Coloured with Primsacolor Pencils.

Don & Daisy
Hi! Still on the colouring theme! New stamps from Marianne Design - Don & Daisy - they don't have cute names though - this one is DDS3329!
She's so cute though - lots of lovely detail to colour. She looks like she's not got a care in the world!
The flowers and leaves are Lil'inker dies. Love them! The flowers are cut from Stampin' Up! cardstock.

My new Copics
Made these in celebration of my new Copic markers (should I say "additions" to the existing collection!). I love my Promarkers.. but I do really love my Copics! I got the warm grey set as an addition to the 36 I already have.. I really need to calm down on the craft spending as I've just ordered all the new Stampin' Up! Blendabilities. (oops, how did that happen!) .. and I'm supposed to be saving up for spending money for a holiday!

It's my day!
Hello! I hope you are having a lovely weekend! 1st of June already - where does the time go! It does mean the countdown to the holidays is well and truly on!
It's been a busy weekend here with our local highland games also hosting the British Pipeband Championships. Tartan as far as the eye can see!
It was my day over at Make the Day Special yesterday and I made a new home card for family friends who have just moved house. If you've not checked out MTDS before you really need to - Tara has the most amazing selection of stamps and dies from across the pond! You have to be quick though as they are so in demand they do tend to fly out the door as quickly as they arrive!

Still colouring!
Hi! Hope your week is going well! I couldn't carry on colouring without including Saturated Canary! So here it is. I've not printed digis for ages as the cardstock I like to colour on wasn't going through the new printer very easily. Then in a moment of sheer inspiration I tried SU! Whisper White and it's absolutely perfect for both Copics/Promarkers and Prismacolor. So all those many trial and error attempts to find the perfect cardstock for colouring and it was right under my nose! (well, in amongst the mountain of SU! cardstock that I seem to be amassing (oops!))
