Merry Christmas!

 Hi! Well, the wrapping is done and the table is set so not much else to do in prep for tomorrow.  Today is going to be a crafty day! If I could just keep my mojo!  I've started with this simple little make and some scraps!

 Hi! Well it's the eve of Christmas Eve and already I'm unable to work out what day of the week it is!  A quick make for this morning with, hopefully, some more crafty time this afternoon.  But, for now, I'm off to finish wrapping pressies!

 Hi! I hope you've had a lovely week!  It's been another busy one for me.  I had great intentions to do some tidying in the craft room but that's not materialised other than I did manage to get some of the presents that were lying around wrapped which has cleared a bit of floor space!!  So now my good intentions to tidy up will continue into any available free time this week!  I have to try and make some room as I've a bumper parcel from Stampin' Up! coming hopefully mid week!

I am trying to keep my crafty hand in the game though so I made this little birthday card.  I love this little guy! Kept it simple with the colours!

Rainy Day!

Hi! Well, after all the snow on Friday night the rain today has cleared nearly all of it!  Mind you, it's not stopped all day!  So, another lazy one. I really should be wrapping pressies or, at the very least, tidying up the craft room!  But no, just made a little card instead.  I like Christmas with non-traditional colours!

I've made this little Christmas gnome card.  So simple and fun to make!

It's been a crazy busy week this week!  I'm so glad to be able to relax and have a bit of a play with the alcohol markers today.  I just love this little guy and he is so much fun to colour! 

I'm going to enter him in the Anything Goes challenge at Love to Craft!

 

Oh dear... it's been a while!

 Hello! 

It's been 6 months since I last posted.  That's no good.  It's been quite a busy six months, nothing major, but just enough to kind of lose the crafty bug.  I'm sure most crafters go through that at some time or other and sometimes it's really difficult to get motivated again. 

I decided to have a bit of a craftroom clear out so I could see more things that I had that would inspire me and it's worked... a bit.  I still have way too much stuff but I have been fairly good at not buying too many new things!  The clear out isn't finished yet either!! 

But I thought I would stop filling black bags and have a bit of a play!  I used colour to inspire this one, starting off with a small scrap of paper from Stampin' Up! in Soft Succulent.  Then I coloured one of the Woolly Jumpers from Carabelle Studio in Soft Succulent and Smoky Slate.  Other scraps added and some Tim Holtz collage paper.

I hope you like it! I'm going to enter it in an Anything Goes challenge over at Lil Patch of Crafty Friends.

 Hey! Happy Sunday! 

Where does the time go? Not long back from a week away in a lovely dog friendly cottage and then a busy week catching up at work.  I decided to have some me time today. The main aim was to clear some space in the craft room as I'm expecting quite a few parcels in the next few days. Needless to say, I failed.. I have made no new space as I just can't bear to part with stuff! 

I did stop tidying to make a quick card though.  I recently got a gorgeous set of stamps and dies from Mama Elephant called Stackable Cuties so I thought I would do some quick colouring. I could easily have kept on just colouring but I stopped to make this quick little rocker card.  It's plain and simple but I had fun making it!

Mothers Day Flowers!

Happy Sunday everyone! I'm having a lazy day today and enjoying being spoiled on Mothers Day!

It's been a really busy week at work, and yesterday was spent visiting family then some crafty time with some like minded ladies.  Very relaxing!  We were doing some decopatch on eggs for Easter.

Today I thought I'd have a look through some dies that I've not used for a while and came across one set I hadn't used at all!  Great fun making this really easy 3d flower pot!   And it folds flat which would make it a great card!

 Hi! Welcome to a miserable Monday here in central Scotland.  It's not stopped raining and there's the threat of snow later.

I've not been spending much time crafting today but I have made this little card!

Sunday, day of rest! (day to avoid housework and look forward to a lovely lamb roast for dinner!)

And time to play! 

I think this may be one of my new favourite stamp sets. It's Stampin' Up! "A Fish and a Wish".  I love the way they have done the textured look on the fish and the fact you get a great splatter dots stamp to use in the background. 

I've gone with Orchid Oasis and Pretty Peacock as the colour scheme for this one.  Orchid Oasis is one of my favourite colours ever!

Just monkeying around

Happy Saturday!   It's a cold one here today and we're supposed to get snow... but no sign of it so far!

I've been having a crafty play today... I've not used my alcohol markers for ages so I thought I would try and get back in the habit!  I've used this little guy from Whippersnapper (which I've had for years!) and coloured him using Stampin' blends.

Nothing fancy on this card but I think I'm starting to prefer a CAS look generally. 

I missed this one

 Hi! I really thought I had posted this pic before. Back in Oct last year I started playing with Jesmonite.  I'm still hooked and these are just some of the little trinket trays I have made.  These are so easy and quick to make! I've been using Stampin' Up! re-inkers to colour the mix and they've set really well.

They are really handy to have on your craft desk if you are making small die cuts or beading as I typically lose things! 

It's coming up carrots

Hi! 

Wow, I can't believe my last post here was October!  I have still been crafting in that time, maybe not as much as I would have liked. I've just not felt like blogging even though lots of positive stuff has happened.  I'll try and catch up! 

All is good though and I'm hoping this will be the start of a seriously fun crafty year!  I suppose the main crafty resolution will be to use what I have!  Although I know that won't happen! Not with so many lovely new crafty items out there.   

Today I've been playing with the new "Thanks a Bunch"  from Stampin Up! which was available as a Sale-a-bration reward.  To be honest, I wasn't really sure if I would use this set but it was really quite fun, and I love the finished effect on the carrots!  I've layered white on white which I think gives a nice effect. The tartan paper is from Memory Box (Madras Plaid Coral and Green).
