This was great fun to make! 

Playing with the Gelli Plate

First time playing with the Gelli plate!  Great fun! (a wee bit messy!) Used Sherrill Sorbets acrylics (had them for ages and was never sure exactly what to do with them!) They have a lovely pearl effect.  Teamed up with a Prima honeycomb mask.  Then set with the heat gun before stamping JOFY 09 from Paperartsy in Tuxedo Black Memento.  Finished off with some paper piecing, some white gel pen, crystal effects and chunky white Frantage.  

Over all I’m quite happy with this for a first attempt!

oh what to do with this? might just be one of my most fav stamp sets!

This card is inspired by the green chevron paper. All the papers and cardstock are Stampin’ Up! (Island Indigo, More Mustard and Old Olive). The digi is a lovely Saturated Canary which I love to colour!  I love the simple “Hello” sentiment from Die-Namics.

I've not coloured Wryn for ages - she's such a lovely image from Tiddlyinks!  Kept the colours simple on this one - the Papers are Rondelle from Prima.

Yes, I've gone colouring mad these days... if it stays still long enough then it gets coloured in!   (Murphy the cat better watch out!)

This started out as lots of mistakes and off-cuts.. then put them all together!!

 

Daisy

Playing with Flexmarkers and Copics this afternoon – as it’s so miserable outside!  And it’s so cold! Got the heating on!

The greeting is by Paper Smooches, and the lovely papers are from Lawn Fawn. 

Card made for work colleague.. it's three in one card and 8"x8"...

three in one because you open it and there are two other card fronts inside.. the right hand opens out again to reveal the inside of the card and space for messages etc.

 

I love making these!

Found some black papers and some Swarovski crystals – the real thing really does sparkle better!

 

Oodles of hearts

I was having a wee look around in some (of the many) boxes of unmounted stamps that I have and I came across this lovely Stampin Bella stamp. Stamped her with Stazon then coloured using Tim Holtz Distress Markers.  Added some Stampin’ Up! Dazzling Details to the trim of her dress.

Also found a huge collection of bakers twine that I forgot I had!  Oops!

 

L O V E

Something a little bit different for me..  the letters are cute with SU! Bigz Typeset alphabet – made from My Minds Eye – the Sweetest Thing papers mounted onto chipboard.

A little bit of silver glitter paper to set it off with a bit of bling!

Well, it's absolutely freezing here.. we've even had some sleet/snow... not what you expect in mid May..not even in Scotland!   Brrr.. I think I will go an put the heating on!

Cutasaurus

Hi!  This little guy is from Paper Smooches “Cutasaurus”.  I’ve just gone for something very quick and simple with this card… stamped the cute little guy and coloured him with Tim Holtz Distress Markers.

 

Life is Art

Life is Art.. I was inspired to make this using Tim Holtz and Hero Arts Stamps after making one very similar designed by the amazing kath!

This is a little expanding file made for keeping embellishments in – all those spare die cuts that get lost! It's also the first time I've used little magnetic snaps carefully hidden to make the fastening - really pleased with how well they work!  

 

Blending Book

As I'm colouring everything in sight at the moment I thought it would be a good idea to make a blending book - somewhere to keep a record of all the combos that I find that work well.  So here it is - found loads of bind it all stuff when I was having a tidy out so put some of it to good use here!

Birthday for someone who likes to travel. I love these stamps from Tim Holtz – so lovely to colour!

Hi!

In a bright mood today!   These cute little birds are from Paper Smooches “My Peeps”.  Coloured with a mix of pens – I was going for the colours rather than a particular type of pen – Marvy LePlume II and Stampin’ Up! Write Markers.

The paper is from Echo Park “Note to Self”.

Sadly, my bright mood is not related to the weather here – it’s cold, very windy, and the sky is very grey and cloudy – this means rain and gale force winds in time for the school pick up!

Happy B'EARTH DAY!

The challenge for this card was Earth Day.  This little critter from Paper Smooches “Birthday Buddies” seems to just fit the bill!  Loved colouring him with Tim Holtz Distress Markers. Also had a bit of a root around in my Sizzix and Quickutz dies – forgot just how many I had (oops!).

This was a really fun card to make – nice and bright!
