Here's Wryn again...

I just love colouring Wryn from Tiddlyinks.  I really need to get some more images of her.

Here she is coloured using copics.  Just a simple card.

Still colouring!

Hi! Hope your week is going well!  I couldn't carry on colouring without including Saturated Canary!  So here it is.  I've not printed digis for ages as the cardstock I like to colour on wasn't going through the new printer very easily.  Then in a moment of sheer inspiration I tried SU! Whisper White and it's absolutely perfect for both Copics/Promarkers and Prismacolor.  So all those many trial and error attempts to find the perfect cardstock for colouring and it was right under my nose! (well, in amongst the mountain of SU! cardstock that I seem to be amassing (oops!))

Splendid Sunshine

Here's Wryn from Tiddlyinks. I love this digi, she so lovely to colour. I especially love her hair. 

Yellows for this one.. was inspired by the papers (Echo Park - Splendid Sunshine).

Faith the fairy

Prismacolor on kraft with Stamping Bella's Faith the Fairy.  Love colouring this image. Using up scraps and die cuts that were lying around my desk! Loving the turquoise and kraft combo.  I'm just amazed at how the colours seem to pop off the page with these pencils.

Magnolia

In my continuing quest to colour I thought I would dig out some of my Magnolia stamps - not played with them for ages!  I love this one. 

The little flower die cuts are the Petals Set from Casual Fridays.

Using some scraps!

I didn't want to waste the scraps of checked paper that I used on the two Scruffy Little Cat cats last week so I've made this card to use them up!

It's no wonder my craft supplies never seem to reduce.. I use every last little bit! 

It's my day!

Hi! It was my day at Make the Day Special yesterday! I made this card hoping to encourage the sunshine.

It didn't.

Thunder and torrential rain here today.. and it's freezing!  I think I'm going to have to give in and turn the heating on!  It's nearly June!

Oh wow! I'm just having so much fun playing with these Scruffy Little Cat images!
I added the gold swirls to this card.. with those lush lashes she deserves a bit of bling!

Prismacolor on Kraft

Hello again!

Still practising - thought I would see what Prismacolor pencils on Kraft-type cardstock would turn out like. I used scraps of SU! Crumb Cake cardstock and found some Hero Arts stamps that I've not used for ages.

Here are the results - pretty pleased with them - especially the flowers.

This is my second outing with Prismacolor pencils.  And one of my favourite Gorjuss stamps "Daisy" by Personal Impressions.

Definitely need to work on my technique but still pretty pleased with results so far!  And it's so relaxing colouring in!

An old favourite

Hello Again!   I just love this little Gorjuss Girl.  She must be one of my all time favourite stamps.  She's coloured with Promarkers and Flexmarkers here. I think she is the perfect candidate for me to try with Prismacolor Pencils though!   Hmm.. but what colours to choose from! 

You make life beautiful

Hello!  Still playing with my Scruffy Little Cat stamps.  This is autumn again, she's lovely to colour - especially if you like doing hair!  Coloured this time using promarkers and flexmarkers.  The colours haven't come out too well on this pic - her coat and trousers are pale blue.  Oh well, never mind! 

These are lovely stamps to work with - a good variety of large and small detail to colour so perfect for promarkers - I had to use the fine nib on the black pen to really darken her wonderful eye lashes! 

New toys!

... I have wanted these for ages!! Finally convinced myself beyond all shadow of doubt that I really really needed them!!  Prismacolor Premier pencils.

Got a chance to play with them today and I am just completely amazed by them!

This is my first attempt so I can only get better..

Time to go and practice some more!

Gift Bag

Hi! Carrying on the sewing theme! I made this little lined gift bag to hold my mothers day gift for my mum. The bag started off as 4 5" squares from a Moda Charm pack.  This is the first time I've tried something like this and it's far from perfect. It was also quite fiddly as it's quite small.  Good fun to make though. I might never need to buy a gift bag again!

Added a little applique heart on the front and some buttons!

A little 2" x 2" chickie keyring!  Such fun!!

I've not played with my copics for ages.. it was fun to have a play today - especially with this new Gorjuss stamp.  The papers used are from the Gorjuss range too. I love the colours!
