Getting prepared!

Hello!

So the weather has been bad.. the "Beast from the East" arrived in style and seems to want to hang around with more snow today.
One good thing about weather like this is you can really make the most of family time, keeping warm and cosy doing relaxing things (apart from clearing snow away.. obviously!)

I've been doing a lot of cross stitch recently, and not so much of the paper crafting.  And it was tempting with Mothers Day coming up to just nip to the shops.  But no.. I stuck with it and tried to find my papercrafting mojo and made this mothers day card...

The papers are from the Watercolour stack by Die Cuts With A View.   I had good fun making this one.  And used some Inca Gold to add a bit of extra shine to the flower and leaves.

Postman delivered a wee parcel the other day (and hopefully more to come this week).. some gorgeous cotton fabric by the fabulous Kaffe Fassett.  The colours are amazing and the patterns so bold.  Not sure what to make.. I really do need to change some of the cushion covers so maybe that could be my next project!

Whatever you are up to.. have a lovely weekend!
