Hello Friday! and Hello Challenge!

fHi!  Another week!  This was a good one.. it started with a lovely holiday over in St. Monans in Fife in the most gorgeous little waterfront cottage. Perfect tranquillity, a bit of luxury and a log fire.. topped off with an unspoilt sea view and some pretty amazing (windy!) weather - always great if you are watching the waves!   So, it was a lovely relaxing start.   And now, it's challenge time again over at Crafting With Friends!

My choice of image for this "Anything Goes" challenge is Love Note Fairy - Love is in the Air by Lacy Sunshine.  Well, it was Valentines day this week!

Here she is.  Coloured with Spectrum Noir Illustrator Markers and colours inspired by Tim Holtz papers.

I chose to make this an easel card so that the image could be the real focus.  She's great fun to colour!

Crafting With Friends Challenge #35

Hello!

Well here we are again at the end of a week! The speed time is flying in is making me dizzy!  It's been a great week.  Recovered (work wise) from everything that piled up over the Christmas break.  House is starting to look tidy (ish) again!  And I'm been involved in some parent/teacher stuff which looks like it could be very worthwhile.  So, enthusiasm running high!  AND, even more importantly, crafty spend has been at a minimum and some really quality time has been spent doing a bit of a clear out!  Still a fair way to go though!

I did manage to "ring fence" some quality crafty time to do my DT entry for the AMAZING fortnightly challenges over at Crafting With Friends!  Working with an image from the very talented Nikki Burnette. 

I chose Cadence. 

She immediately said "nature" to me.. so I went with a simple palette of colours (and a little bit of fairy sparkle glitter!) to produce this...

I love her face!  She is such a pleasure to colour in! I used a mix of alcohol pens to get the variety of greens and blending..

Crafting With Friends New Challenge!

Hi! It's challenge time again at Crafting With Friends.

I've been lucky enough to have this gorgeous digi from Moonflower to play with!  She's called Sakura Maiden.  I've coloured her using Copics and kept the embellishment on the card quite simple as there is so much lovely detail on the image!

Crafting With Friends Challenge 28

Hi!  It's Friday and another week bites the dust! Been a mega busy one for me and the family as it started with nearly a 1000 mile round trip to visit family down south for 2 days!  Great fun though!

It's challenge time over at Crafting With Friends - Anything Goes - I had to make sure I was well prepared in advance for this one!

Crafting With Friends Challenge #24

Hi! Happy Friday!

Challenge #24 at Crafting With Friends opens today.  It's Anything Goes and is sponsored by the fabulous Bugaboo!

I was lucky enough to choose my stamp for my DT entry and I chose Ava Flower Patch.

For a change I decided to do an easel card.  Bugaboo images are such fun to colour!  I loved making this card - such nice bright colours!

I just love Flump in this image! Great fun to colour (especially the ears!)  I used Copics and Polychromos.  Yes, I do seem to be getting into that habit!! But they work so well together.
