You're a superstar!

Hello!   A change for me today.. a kids card! and, for a boy!   Meet Alfie.. he's one of a set from Scruffy Little Kitten. I've had these stamps, together with a CD ROM for ages.  I used the CD but not the stamps.  But now I might be hooked!  I've stamped him with Stazon so that I could use Tim Holtz Distress Markers to colour him.  The papers are from Simple Stories.

I'm going to enter this card in the blog challenge over at Send A Smile 4 Kids (it closes on 5th of February so you have plenty time to join in!)

Monochromatic Princess

Something a wee bit different for me.  This little princess is coloured with pro markers.  I've used a feather as an embellishment (first time ever!), some ruffled ribbon and a sparkly button!

Nellie Snellen: Brave Captain

This little guy is new from Nellie Snellen - he's called "Brave Captain.  He's really great to colour and the quality of the stamped image is fantastic.  Coloured him using pro-markers and Marvy Twinklette pigmented glitter markers (which I have just noticed should be stored horizontally - might explain why the colour didn't flow too well - oops!) 

The papers are by MME - the True Blue collection which are lovely! And the sentiment stamp is from Stampin' Up.

Might do some more later!

Love this cheeky wee robot! He's coloured with copics.  Just a quick make. Been busy making baby cards as I'd run out! Made 6 but they are all repeats of previous designs so I'm not going to photograph them.

What to do now?
I really should tidy up all the tags on my posts, make things easier to find!

A nice and bright birthday card for a 7 year old.  I added a sparkly red jewel to the bow after taking the pic as I thought it needed "something".

Ballet Brielle by Whippersnapper

I think this has to be one of my favourite stamps! The papers on this card are Hot Off The Press. I've also used some doodlebug paper frills and prima flowers.

The vellum is held in place with a brad and a snap - it should have been two snaps but I punched the wrong size hole (doh!). This is the first time I've used snaps - fiddly wee things!! I nearly broke my cropadile by using it the wrong way and a snap got stuck on. (Yes, I should have read the instructions first..... yeah yeah!! I fixed it (whew!)

Birthday Train

I was totally stuck for a birthday card for a little boy who's into Thomas The Tank Engine - didn't even want to think about the subject of copyright... So here is my attempt at a train card. Made from 4 sheets of DCWV cardstock and some sparkly black card. Along with some Sizzix and QK die cuts to add the names etc.
