It's beach party time!

Well, actually, no.. not beach party time here in Scotland. Sorry, lol!! But the weather has been ok.. well, in Shorpshire it has! Spent a lovely weekend doing real family stuff with relations from all over coming together for a lovely weekend!   We hired a lovely cottage and just chilled out. Went to visit family and were joined by cousins from all over .. amazing to meet the newest member of the clan at just 5 weeks old!

So now just enjoying the rest of the bank holiday weekend with a quick make to share.  A Stamping Bella coloured with Copics..

I'm going to link to a few challenges as I'm catching up!

Like a Princess..

Hi! Welcome to another week!

It's wet, windy and cold here in central Scotland today and I've been busy continuing with the crafty de-clutter!  It's very rewarding to see all the things you forget you have, and to see how tastes/trends have changed over the last 11 years or so.

Taking a break from the clear out to make a quick card with a lovely Stamping Bella stamp, coloured with Copics and Polychromos.

I've kept the layout quite simple.

I'm going to enter this card in the following challenges:

Glitter N Sparkle (Use a punch/die)
Crafty Calendar (Anything Goes - April)

Now, I suppose I better get back to de-cluttering!

Selfie!

Hi!
Here's a card with my new Stamping Bella stamp "Samantha and Sierra take a Selfie".
I just love coloring Stamping Bella images and this one is just what you need on a cold, wet and windy day here in Scotland.  A chance to feel a bit warmer and enjoy a cocktail!  Makes me glad I've already got holidays booked for this year!
I've coloured the ladies with a mix of Copics and Polychromos.

I'm going to enter this card in the Lacy Sunshine challenge.

Polychromos!

Hello! Well, it's Monday again and I guess we also have to say hello to Storm Henry who is making his arrival felt here in central Scotland.
Luckily he didn't get in the way of the crafty delivery for today.  I've been wishing the days away since ordering these..  POLYCHROMOS from Faber-Castell.
Aren't they gorgeous!?

I got the set of 60 and the colours are amazing, although I already know I want more! Luckily you can buy them individually so I may need to see which colours I need to compliment this set!

So what better than to get a new toy, and then get to play with it!   Here's my first attempt (although I have done the hair and skin with Copics).  These pencils are lovely to work with.  They have a totally different feel to Prismacolor.
More practice needed!

I'm going to enter this card in the following challenges;

Cheers!!

Amazing

Hello!  Well, all I can say is it's not getting any warmer! I don't think the temperature has gone up from -3 when I was scrapping ice from the car this morning!
What better weather than to get cozy in the craft room and have a play!

Here's my card for today.  Back to colouring with Tim Holtz Distress Markers and a Stamping Bella stamp that I've not used in ages.

I'm going to enter this one in the Crafty Girls Creations "Anything Goes (challenge 12)"

And here she is.. ready for her close up!!

Monday Morning Coffee and Friends

Hi!  It's the start of a new week!

This card is made with Stamping Bella "Uptown Girls Clarissa and Camille share a cafĂ©".  Yet another image that is so much fun to colour!

I was left with a blank space on the left of the card so I looked to the coffee cup for inspiration. Just some simple little layered punched circles..

I'm going to enter this card in the "Penny Black and More" challenge "One for the Girls".

Hey, It's Saturday!

And what better way to say hello to the weekend than a really big Cheers!

Having spent a lovely afternoon with the crafty girls colouring in I thought I would make a card for today.  I've been busy with my Tim Holtz Distress Markers colouring this one.  She's called "Opal the Optimist" from Stampingbella.
I love Stampingbella images, they are so fun to colour!  And the level of detail is great.
I love the watercolour effect with the Tim Holtz markers, they are super to work with and the colours blend so well together.

I'm going to enter this card in "A Gem of A Challenge" where the challenge this week is "Female Birthday".  The challenge closes on 22nd January so why no pop over and have a look!

Have a lovely weekend!

Faith the fairy

Prismacolor on kraft with Stamping Bella's Faith the Fairy.  Love colouring this image. Using up scraps and die cuts that were lying around my desk! Loving the turquoise and kraft combo.  I'm just amazed at how the colours seem to pop off the page with these pencils.

Using some scraps!

I didn't want to waste the scraps of checked paper that I used on the two Scruffy Little Cat cats last week so I've made this card to use them up!

It's no wonder my craft supplies never seem to reduce.. I use every last little bit!
