Hello! I hope you are having a lovely weekend! 1st of June already - where does the time go! It does mean the countdown to the holidays is well and truly on!
It's been a busy weekend here with our local highland games also hosting the British Pipeband Championships. Tartan as far as the eye can see!
It was my day over at Make the Day Special yesterday and I made a new home card for family friends who have just moved house. If you've not checked out MTDS before you really need to - Tara has the most amazing selection of stamps and dies from across the pond! You have to be quick though as they are so in demand they do tend to fly out the door as quickly as they arrive!
Here's my card;

At Home
Love this stamp from Little Claire - called "At Home". Coloured with the SU! blender and inks and matted on Early Expresso. The papers are MME True Blue.
I think I might add some SU! Crystal Effects to the middle house!

Stampin Up Good Neighbors
Another quick one. The houses are cut out and stuck on to the cream card - I left spaces between the houses and the roofs which looks much better than in the photo.
Stampin Up! products again (Love them!!). This time its cardstock from Neutrals and Subtles, and the papers from Elegant Soiree. Inks used are Baja Breeze, Marinal Mist, Wild Wasabi and the clouds are Bashful Blue.

Something different and definately not Christmas!
A new home card made from my new Pink Paislee papers. Love the colour combinations and the matching bazzil cardstock.

Experiencing Technical Difficulties!
Sorry I've not posted in ages! Been experiencing some technical challenges! New laptop - it's great! Makes me think my last one was powered by a couple of geriatric hamsters! This new one is great - but it has Photoshop Elements as the photo editing tool and I'm totally hopeless with it!! I definately need time to practice! Made loads of wee 12cm x12cm cards to use up some blanks that I had.. and use scraps of paper. I also went through all of my scraps and decided what I was going to keep - cut them all to either 6x6, 5x5, 4x4 or 3x3.. how organised of me!! Just about chopped my finger off with the guillotine one time!Anyway... this card was just me playing with a new stamp from Stampin' Up.. its one of the stampin around ones called Neighbourhood. Kraft cardstock is Bazzil.

New Home
I've not made anything for ages and this one was a real challenge to find the inspiration. I love the bright colours though!

Assembly Line!

It's amazing how quickly you can make the same thing over and over! Economies of scale.
I'm change of address cards for when we move in approx 7 weeks time. Better to be well organised! I still have to add the "we've moved... " message to the front of the cards.
This is my new stamp from Whippersnapper. It's so easy to colour!! I used marvy pens and a watercolour technique for these.
