Frogtastic

Hi!

A change away from Christmas for this one!  Love colouring this little guy!

Little Reindeer

Hi,

More Christmas cards!  I found a little reindeer die that I've had for about 14 years.  So I thought I would make some quick little cards.  I've got a bag of little scraps to use, including some vellum so I just had a play around.  All the backgrounds are Sahara Sand from Stampin' Up!  I think it's possibly one of my favourite colours.

A Sprinkle and a Spritz

Hi,

Second post for today.  I've been staying with the poinsettias for these cards - just a slightly different look with the torn music paper.

Also a before pic!

Checked Poinsettia

Hi!

When doing a (very small) tidy up I found this Tattered Poinsettia die from Tim Holtz so I used the Distress Oxide Sprays, Distress Spray Stains and Paperartsy infusions to make the flowers from watercolour paper. Then I added some chunky white embossing powder and ages silver embossing enamel.  The background stamp and greeting are Stampin' Up!

And slightly more muted colours...

Hope you like them! Have a lovely day!

Oh Christmas Tree

Hi!

Welcome to a wet and miserable day here in Scotland.  On a positive note, it's not that cold!

I've been playing with the watercolours today. Inspired by a card I saw on Pinterest.

Winter Flora

Hi!

I've taken my inspiration for this card from the new Less Is More challenge #407 One Layer Card and Winter Flora.

I've used the Memories of Home set from Stampin' Up! and coloured using Tim Holtz distress crayons.

Gnomes

Hi!

Well, there's been no improvement in the weather today.  A great excuse to stay cozy and craft!

I bought this set last year and I absolutely love it!  It's from Reverse Confetti.  It die cuts so beautifully.

I went with a different colour theme for this one as I had a little piece of red and white polka dot paper lying on my desk. It was either use it or bin in.. so I used it!

Have a lovely day!

Celebrate

Hi,

A cold and wet Sunday afternoon here - in fact there is only one word to describe it - dreich.

Dreich - Wet, dull, gloomy, dismal, dreary or any combination of these. Scottish weather at its most miserable. The “ch” is pronounced as in Scots loch.

I think that sums it up pretty well!

On a positive note though, the house is toasty warm and the Sunday roast is smelling gorgeous!

Some crafty time for me today - although I have been doing some tidying out too. The evidence is one bin bag full of craft stuff that I'll never use!

One card made today so far.  I've been playing with the New Wonders set from Stampin' Up!  I love the images in this set but wasn't sure how well they would colour as they are partially shaded already.  I'm pleased though!  I used Copics to colour this one!

Little trees

Hi!

Not much crafty time today - been out and about!

So I've used what little time I've had to make some Christmas card toppers.  Playing around with watercolours including Tim Holtz distress oxides and some Stampin' Up! Pigment Sprinkles.
