No Line Colouring

Hi,

I'm having a try at no line colouring.  It's not easy and I have a way to go but it is good fun.  My card is inspired by challenge #170 at CAS on Sunday.  It's for a Christmas themed card so although I said I was done making Christmas cards, this one is an exception!

I masked the little Polkadoodles reindeer with Pebeo drawing gum and did the background first.  Then used a tiny brush and my ZIG clean color real brush pens to colour.  The gold paint is Gansi Tambi Blue Gold.

Flutterby

Hi!

I've been inspired by the new challenge at CAS(E) this Sketch for my card today.  It's challenge #352 and it's a bit different.  Not a layout I would have thought of but great fun to do!  And great for using scraps of paper!

Sticking With Washi

Hello!

Another card made using washi tape.  This time the layout is inspired by challenge SSC220 at Sunday Stamps.

Washi tape really is such a great crafty product. So easy to use!

Washi Wishes

Hi!

I've taken my inspiration for this next card from the sketch challenge (#416) at Freshly Made Sketches.

Not a tricky card to make although fussy cutting is not my favourite thing to do!  The background and flowers on this card are washi tape.  I love the colours and the simplicity of this.

Cutasaurus!

Hi!

A change for today.  Not Christmas!

Christmas Reindeer

Hi,

A week until Christmas! The time is disappearing.  I think this may be the last of the Christmas card makes for this year.  I'll need to get on with making gift tags instead!

Little Christmas

Hi,

I hope you are all well and getting well prepared for Christmas! I'm getting there (slowly)!  But I am looking forward to time off work and some "me" time!
The weeks just seem to be flying in at the moment!

I'm trying to get my head into gear for what feels like a mammoth task of de-cluttering.  I can't bear to part with things! But my mind is set on less is more! and with the time off over Christmas I'm going to start small.. and hopefully achieve big!

Crafty time is somewhat limited but here are a couple of Christmas cards..

Can't help loving you

Hi!

It's been a mega busy week catching up back at work! and I can't believe Christmas is now so close!  Need to finish off the Christmas shopping and work out when to put the tree up!

I do have some Christmas cards still to make so I had better get on with that. But for the moment, here's two little kitty cats feeling all loved up!

Baby Powder trees!

Hi,

It's been a busy weekend as we've been away for a couple of nights to a gorgeous cottage near Pitlochry which was conveniently situated next to a dog friendly pub!

It was chilly though, -6 during the nights and it didn't rise too much during the day.    The trees on the way to Loch Tummel looked like they'd been dusted in frosty baby powder!

So just a couple of cards for today..

Frogtastic

Hi!

A change away from Christmas for this one!  Love colouring this little guy!

Little Reindeer

Hi,

More Christmas cards!  I found a little reindeer die that I've had for about 14 years.  So I thought I would make some quick little cards.  I've got a bag of little scraps to use, including some vellum so I just had a play around.  All the backgrounds are Sahara Sand from Stampin' Up!  I think it's possibly one of my favourite colours.

A Sprinkle and a Spritz

Hi,

Second post for today.  I've been staying with the poinsettias for these cards - just a slightly different look with the torn music paper.

Also a before pic!

Checked Poinsettia

Hi!

When doing a (very small) tidy up I found this Tattered Poinsettia die from Tim Holtz so I used the Distress Oxide Sprays, Distress Spray Stains and Paperartsy infusions to make the flowers from watercolour paper. Then I added some chunky white embossing powder and ages silver embossing enamel.  The background stamp and greeting are Stampin' Up!

And slightly more muted colours...

Hope you like them! Have a lovely day!

Oh Christmas Tree

Hi!

Welcome to a wet and miserable day here in Scotland.  On a positive note, it's not that cold!

I've been playing with the watercolours today. Inspired by a card I saw on Pinterest.

I've not made too many cards this year so I'm trying to play catch up now!

Made some background papers with Tim Holtz Distress Oxides and some Stampendous chunky white embossing enamel.
