SBS9 Sketch Challenge for May!
This is the first time I've ever set a sketch challenge for anyone! I've been looking forward to doing this for months now until my turn in May... and you know what? I forgot! I don't think I can convince myself that this is May already! So to all you lovely SBS9 Sisters - a big apology from me for being late! And a BIG thank you to Suzann for reminding me! *blush*
... a pretty simple design I think! I can't wait to see what all you wonderfully creative people will come up with!
The Challenge will run for the rest of May - I hope you have fun with it. Leave me a message below with a link to your blog so I can see what you make of it!
Here's my starter for 10... I've called it "May all your wishes come true".
- Papers are from DCWV "Pocket Full of Posies"
- The stamp is Sugar Nellie "Christmas Fairy" - but I don't think she has to be for Christmas!
- The flower.. the gorgeous flower!!.. is a Flora Doodle which I received from my SBS9 Secret Sister!
- The circles were cut using nestabilities on a cuttlebug..
Have fun everyone!
Lucky Me!
Assembly Line!

It's amazing how quickly you can make the same thing over and over! Economies of scale.
I'm change of address cards for when we move in approx 7 weeks time. Better to be well organised! I still have to add the "we've moved... " message to the front of the cards.
This is my new stamp from Whippersnapper. It's so easy to colour!! I used marvy pens and a watercolour technique for these.

Happy Birthday Grandma

This is Sarah's card for Grandma's birthday - I asked her to draw grandma! The pic is a bit blurry as I accidentally dropped the digital camera - with the telephoto lens out - and now it doesn't seem to be working (oops!). Oh well, these things happen. It was an old camera anyway (this doesn't really work as an excuse does it?). Luckily I do have a new camera!

Mothers Day (in Polish)

This is a brighter version of a card I made a while ago. This time it's for mothers day.
I had some help making this card - Sarah handed me all the little circles!
It was nice to make a card that didn't involve stamping for a change! Gave my cuttlebug a good outing using my sizzix bigz daisies #2. The cardstock is DCWV.

Catch up!
Hi everyone and thanks for all the comments on my recent posts. I've not been posting many new creations over the last few weeks as free time and creative inspiration have been at an all time low :-( I'm hoping that this will change soon though - light at the end of the tunnel and all that!! and I'll get back to having crafty fun and posting new items soon!
On a positive note - this creative drought has not impacted my ability or inclination to do crafty-shopping (yes, surprise surprise!) lol!
I've also been trying to change my blog template - not to one of those offered by blogger - but to one supposedly compatible with blogger - but no success - I get so far with all the code right to the point of saving it then it seems I'm going to lose lots of the links, pics etc that I already have. So I guess I'm stuck with this format! C'est la vie!
So I guess I would just like to say please check back on my blog regularly as I hope to be adding lots of new posts soon!
What's that I see on the horizon?? Could it be my inspiration creeping back into the room?
Thanks again to everyone for their kind feedback on my blog so far!

Gift Bag - Anna Griffin Template
Gossamer - Penny Black

This is the Penny Black stamp "Gossamer". Coloured with Watercolour pencils. The papers are from Berry Sweet from K&Co.
It was all the toys out for this one - Cuttlebug, new nestabilities, curvy edge scissors and cropadile. Fun Fun Fun!
It's not a colour scheme I've used before. I like it though - it's fresh.

You Make My Day Award
%5B1%5D.jpg)
I'd like to say a huge thank you to Gina who sent me this award a wee while ago. I'm just getting round to catching up with email and things!
I now have to pass this on to three people but I'm going to cheat a wee bit and pass it to all my sisters in SBS9 who are such wonderful and inspiring people! You all know who you are!

Berry Sweet
Why is it that I have spent most of the day keying invoices to complete a VAT return and now that I do finally have some time to chill that I dither about with no inspiration? Is it to do with the constant chatter of a 3 year old who should be sleeping but says "Mummy, I not tired!" when she clearly is shattered!
Ah.. the challenges!
So this is all I've come up with. This was a stamped image from a PIF I was lucky to win. I coloured it using Marvy Le Plume II pens and a water brush (just for a change!). The papers (which I thought I would love and now I'm not too sure about) are the new Berry Sweet range from K&Co. I think they will grow on me.. maybe, unlike this card, I should use them by applying the "less is more" guideline! Stuck again!
Why does this happen? I'm totally lost for ideas! This is an image from PC Crafter - the embossing is done on my cuttlebug and the shape is cut using nestabilities. I didn't think I needed nestabilities... and then I got the large scalloped rectangles... now I need them all! They cut so well on the cuttlebug (which has to be the best die cutter ever!) I think I should get rid of my QK and Xyron as I never use them! I thought this little guy was cute - he would probably look good on a baby card.

More goodies!
Oooh! The lovely postman has been again! I really don't NEED anymore paper but who could resist the new DCWV and K&Co pads? I feel some creativity coming on!

Tilda
I can't really think of a name for this card! I do love the flower.. it's from Joanna Sheen.. I need more!! And this is my first attempt with nestabilities on my Cuttlebug... I NEED more! How did I cope without them!! The embossing folder is swiss dots from Cuttlebug.
