Tilda with a Thistle

Completely inspired by Magnolia Down Under's Bingo Challenge and the colour challenge at Lovely hAnglar or Sweet Magnolia.
My bingo line is "Sentiment" "Tilda" "Lace/Ribbon"
My colour combo is Purple and Green.
I love this little Tilda with the Thistle!
Coloured her with Copics and SU! ink.
Used a Magnolia Doo Hickey die too!
The sentiment is Penny Black.

Feeling Fruity!

This is my entry for the Sketch Challenge at 365 cards!

Appreciate What Is

This is my entry for the Totally Paper Crafts Challenge.  The theme is raining, cats and dogs - any one, or combination of the three.  The minute I saw "rain" (and the weather outside!) I was inspired to find this Tatty Button stamp and use it to make my challenge entry.
It's a strange image for a card - something raining! So I teamed it up with the sentiment - because without the rain we wouldn't have the flowers!
The flower is Triple Treat by Stampin' Up! and the colour scheme is Marina Mist, Certainly Celery and Basic Grey. The papers are "Minuet" by Memory Box.

You Rock!

Having a wee play with the copics!

Fathers Day card inspired by the SU! colours - Tempting Turquoise, Chocolate Chip and Peach Parfait.
This is a really great digi to colour!

This is my entry for:

4 Crafty Chicks Challenge!

This is my entry for the 4CCC-94 {Sketch} Challenge over at 4 Crafty Chicks.  Had great fun making this one as it's the first time I've used this lovely digi!  Coloured with Stampin' Up! Inks (Marina Mist, Chocolate Chip and Rose Red) and co-ordinating cardstock.  The papers are Authentique from the Journey collection (lovely colours!)

Sending you oodles of love!

Time for another challenge!

Take a look over at Craft Punked!  This in my entry - birthday celebration!

You are the wind beneath my wings

Something different for me!  This is my entry for the Cupboard Trilogy Challenge

The inspiration for the challenge is the lyrics to "Wind Beneath My Wings" from Beaches.  Reading through the lyrics I thought of love, music, butterflies and making the most of every moment.  The colour scheme for this card came from the pale aqua lace which was lying in a huge bag of mixed embellishments (which I'm supposed to be tidying out!!).  I then found some Pink Paislee papers from the London Market collection.  The stamps are Tim Holtz and Indigo Blu.  Inks are Stampin' up (Soft Suede) and Tim Holtz distress (Bundled Sage).

Pop on over to the Cupboard Trilogy blog - loads of inspiration, and a fantastic prize!

Get Well wishes for a special auntie

Ok, who stole May??  It was definately here around the start of the month, but now it's the 31st and I can't explain where the bit in the middle went!

It's been a manic month - so much on and some good weather too.  I've been busy learning to crochet, doing loads of commissions and a couple of parties, oh, and work - always busy busy!!!

And now I'm thinking it might be time to relax a wee bit - well, maybe after all the Jubilee celebrations! (can't wait!)
Not long now until the summer holidays! (ahh.. I can't wait! I need lots of luxury!!)

Anyway, back to today! Made this card for a very special Auntie who is not too well at the moment.  Sarah has made a card too (need to photo it!).

Time to get on now. I have 8 birthday cards, and a new baby card to make! Or maybe I could do a wee bit of shopping first! need some new dies!! NEED!!

Latest Crafting journey!

I've been busy learning how to crochet - three classes down and totally amazed at the results! Followed this beanie pattern then added the scallop border myself (very proud of this!!), then made the flowers and leaves from another pattern.  Still need to add buttons or pearls to the flower centres.  The wool is 100% cotton and crochets beautifully!   Used a 4mm hook.

What next???

Too Simple?

just can't make up my mind about this one - too simple??

Using up scraps

Using up some scraps of brown, green and orange that I found whilst tidying one small corner of the craft room!

Not had that much time to craft this weekend. Time taken up with a funeral and then a birthday - one extreme to the other.  Did manage to squeeze in a couple of hours learning the basics of crochet though - three more classes to go - it's absolutely fabby fun!

Had the most fabulous fun mum and daughter time today! Been busy pottery painting all afternoon - it's amazing where the time goes when you are having a such a great time!  Our pottery will be glazed and fired and we pick it up at the end of the week - can't wait to see how the colours come out!  Then a girly late lunch.  Perfect!  Days like these make me realise how lucky I am!

No name for this one - too much chitter chatter from a 7 year old to distract me!

Here it is though - inspired by gorgeous Prima papers and one of my fav images from Saturated Canary.
All finished off with some classic Stampin' Up! cardstock in Crumb Cake and Early Expresso, and a die cut swirl by Die-namics.

She's also coloured using Stampin' Up! inks and a blender pen.
