Only one post from me in over a month! I've not been doing much crafting. Not because I don't want to but I've just not had the chance between work, holidays and getting out and about in what has (mostly) been quite good weather! Hopefully now things will settle down a bit and crafting normality will be resumed!
Here are some holiday pics. 3700 nautical miles in 2 weeks around the Baltic (again!) in the lap of luxury. It's always nice to get home though.. and see the cats!
Martini's - yum.. and yes, that is ice on the bar
Feta, tomato and watermelon with a balsamic dressing - amazing
Frogs legs - not for me... "foodie" 12 year old had them!
Tivoli Gardens - Copenhagen - we love Copenhagen!
Tivoli
Midnight sail under the Oresund Bridge (connecting Denmark and Sweden) - not much clearance for a ship of our size - amazing to see!
"Spring" rolls.. get it?? An indulgent night in Qsine
Stockholm
Stockholm Theme Park - Grona Lund on the island of Djurgarden. Might try the ABBA museum next time!
Tomato, Mozzarella and Basil
Tallinn
Lawn on the top deck
Lauluvaljak - home of the Estonian Song Festival. In 1988 the songs sung here led to the overthrow of Soviet rule. This is the statue of Gustav Ernesaks.
Saint Petersburg - the newly built Krestovsky football stadium (it wasn't there last time we visited!)
Church of the Saviour on Spilled Blood. What an amazing sight with the blue sky - it was grey last time!
Ceviche
Peterhof
Peterhof Palace - the Russian Versailles
Submarines
Just a small ice cream in Warnemunde
Not a bad view
Martini bar - play time!
Goats cheese - amazing!
The giggling babies - the source of quite a few "big" wins!
Martini Flights
So, now that the holiday is over will things get back to normal??
No..
More on this little lady in future posts!
It's nice to be back.. now, crafting.. where to start??
