Two for the boys

Cards for men - always fill me with fear! I always find them difficult but really enjoyed making these two!   Both cards are 8"x8" so lots of room!

Been Busy

Been busy! Three 8x8" cards made to order for a friend. Love this Hero Arts Cupcake

Now that these are done I'm off to play with the 6 new sets of retired SU! stamps which arrived from the US today! Fun fun fun!!

No name for this one - too much chitter chatter from a 7 year old to distract me!

Here it is though - inspired by gorgeous Prima papers and one of my fav images from Saturated Canary.

All finished off with some classic Stampin' Up! cardstock in Crumb Cake and Early Expresso, and a die cut swirl by Die-namics.

She's also coloured using Stampin' Up! inks and a blender pen.

Another Little Claire stamp - "Ever so Lovely".  Really nice to colour!

At Home

Love this stamp from Little Claire - called "At Home".  Coloured with the SU! blender and inks and matted on Early Expresso. The papers are MME True Blue.

I think I might add some SU! Crystal Effects to the middle house!

Some new stash!

Just back from the GNPE in Harrogate - a lovely crafty couple of days, great shopping, chilled out time and crafty chat. Now enjoying a relaxing Mothers Day morning before heading out for dinner later.

I can't believe how busy GNPE was - still managed to get some goodies though!

And now looking forward to a Sincerely Yours on the 21st April at Ingliston!

Been busy! Only 4 more to make and then I'll be done!   Great fun though. 

Am over the moon! Just managed to get four retired Stampin' Up! sets that I've been looking for for ages... reduces my retired wish list a little bit!  One of the sets is "by definition" an absolute must have background.. and I got "In Full Bloom" which I just had to have!!  lol!   Time to play with them soon hopefully!

What a really busy week its been! Not complaining though got some quality crafting time last night with some good chat thrown in too! I would never have made these three cards if I hadn't done all my prep work in advance.  The cards are all 8x8" which is proving very popular!  And I have to say I'm really enjoying making that size too!

Oh no,  I think I might have discovered a new craft addiction (just what I need!).. Decopatch. How amazingly simple and relaxing.  All the best ingredients for fun - paper, glue and a paintbrush!  And no mess!  Busy doing a monochromatic picture frame as my first attempt.  I'll soon know if I'm hooked!

Oh my goodness! who would have believed a clear out from top to bottom would be so theraputic!  So far I've been through all my 12x12 papers and sarah now has about 300 or 400 of them! leaving me still an embarrassing amount! now I'm sorting all my brads, ribbons, stamps and embellies.. getting ready for my new craft home which is coming very soon now!  (cant wait to move!) its so good to to be out with the old and in with the new!  lol!

New Bella stamp - Felicity and Blair - coloured with an SU Blender Pen and Poppy Parade, Pear Pizzazz and Peach Parfait.  Early Expresso and Crumb Cake for the hair.

Used the Cupcake punch and the Create a Cupcake stamp set.

Came across an owl made from dies and punched shaped whilst I was bloghopping!  So I thought I would have a good - slightly different to the one I saw - but same principle.

Made for a friend.  The papers are Pebbles Inc (I'm running out of them and can't find them anywhere - should have bought more at the time!!)

Cascade of hearts is made with SU! Cherry Cobbler and Crumb Cake cardstock, Cherry Cobbler DSP, Crumb Cake and Early Expresso ink, Cherry Cobbler Ribbon and some First Edition DSP.  The sentiment is from Sealed with a Kiss.  I used the Heart punch for the little hearts.

I really enjoyed making this one - simple but I love the colours.  The card is 8x8" which is fast becoming my favourite size!

Using up some 1" square scraps of Summer Days paper from Echo Park.  The stamp is Pheobe Ketto (love her!)

A simple wee card!

Papers and digi on this are Pink Petticoat. I've made a similar card before - ages ago. I don't do paper piecing very often so I thought I would try it here.

Colour this cute digi using copics.   Can't remember where I got the image from (I'll check!) but he's lovely to colour!

A little envelope mini album

Made this little mini book with three cheap brown C5 envelopes.  The gorgeous image is a digi from Saturated Canary. She's coloured with SU inks using a blender pen.

Each of the six open ends of the envelopes contains a tabbed insert - ready to be personalised!

Really loved making this! 

Brr... it's freezing out there today! 

Not that it's bothered me for the most part as I've been enjoying the lovely warmth of my craft room! Been mainly doing SU stuff (additicted!).. can't wait for the Sale-A-Bration which starts tomorrow.  I have a very long wish list!

The blue card and paper, and ink, is SU Baja Breeze - its a really lovely shade, perfect for this Gorjuss Girl - I've coloured her using the blender pen.

Yes, my newly discovered SU Blender Pen!!  Used it to colour these lovely Saturated Canary images using my SU In Colors!  

I just need to make the cards now.  But I think I might do some more colouring first!

First proper SU card of the year!

I've been a bit lazy on the card making front so far this year but today I can say my mojo is officially back!

I'm just loving these colours from this year's and last year's In Color collections.  Along with the paper range from the new SAB.

• Other SU Products: Crystal Effects, Blender Pen (wow! first time I've used this - it's great!!), and dimentionals  

The larger circles are cut using Nesties.
